You call or request an inspection
Tell us what's going on: a leak, storm damage, an aging roof, gutters. Active leaks and open roofs go to the front of the line.
A local roofer inspects for free
An insured roofer who serves your ZIP checks the roof and attic, photographs damage and measures the roof.
You get a written estimate
A line-item estimate with repair-or-replace advice. For storm damage, the photos and scope support your insurance claim.
Permitted, code-built work
The contractor pulls the permit, schedules TDI windstorm inspections in Jefferson and Chambers counties, does the work and provides a written warranty.
Before you sign any roofing contract
- Get a certificate of liability insurance and check the dates
- Get a line-item estimate that lists decking, drip edge, flashing and ventilation
- Confirm who pulls the permit, and in TWIA counties, who schedules windstorm inspections
- Read the workmanship warranty and how manufacturer warranties are registered
- Never sign an assignment of benefits or pay a large cash deposit up front

No. Inspections and written estimates are free and carry no obligation.

An independent, insured roofing contractor that serves your ZIP code. That contractor gives you the estimate, performs the work and provides the warranty.
How do I check a roofer in Texas?
Texas has no statewide roofing license, so ask for a certificate of liability insurance, local references and a written contract. RCAT offers a voluntary license, and many cities require contractor registration.
What if my ZIP isn't covered?
We'll tell you. Calls are only routed to roofers that serve your area.
